Teams are supposed to reach the Web Resource Centre as soon as they reach school on the 15th. The quiz will start from 9 a.m. and ends by 3 p.m. and all the participants are requested to make their own transport arrangements.

Easter Eggs – Some New Ones

OK, I am putting up a list of easter eggs. So enjoy.


1. Yahoo! Yodle – Open up http://www.yahoo.com and when it opens up click the exclamation mark in the Yahoo! logo. Make sure your speakers are switched on.

2. Adobe Photoshop – Press Alt+Ctrl+Shift and then open up About Photoshop from the Help menu. Generally it opens up a different version of the about dialogue. (Works in all versions, and also works in ImageReady). For CS2 – Adobe Space Monkey. For CS – Dark Matter.

3. Book Of Mozilla – Most of you must have heard abput this one. Open up about:mozilla in the Mozilla web browser.

4. Google –

a) Google Microsoft – Go to http://www.google.com/microsoft

b) Google Moon – Go to http://moon.google.com and keep zooming in. You will find that it’s cheese all the way down.

c) Google TiSp – Now this is funny. Go to http://www.google.com/tisp/. Read the page and press “Get Started with Google TiSP”.

d) Google Romance – Go to http://www.google.com/romance . This one is kinda funny.

e) Google Mentalplex – Go to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/mentalplex/ .Supposed to read the users mind!

f) Google’s Life’s Answer – (That’s what the people from DPS, VK yelled on the stage) .
Search for “answer to life, the universe, and everything” in Google Search (without quotes) and Google Calculator will tell you the answer.

There will be a meeting of ALL Exun members on Thursday, the 8th of November for finishing up all the preparation for Exun 2007 that is on the 10 th and 11th of November.

Timings: 7:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M.*

Also note that you MUST be in school uniform and reach the school on time. Upon reaching school, please report to the Web Resource Centre for further instructions.

Eligibility: VIII & IX

    1. Topic will be given during the time of competition
    2. Clips will be provided
    3. Students will create a website on the topic given in HTML
    4. Photoshop 6.5 will be provided

2. Group Discussion (6th November 2007)
No. of Participant:-1
Eligibility: IX to XII

    1. One speaker from each school
    2. Topic and Rules will be announced on the spot
    3. 5 teams will qualify from the first round for the final round

3. MS. Paint (6th November 2007)
No. of Participants:-2
Eligibility: IV & V

    1. Topic will be given during the time of competition
    2. Clips will be provided

4. Quiz (6th & 7th November 2007)
No. of Participants:-2
Eligibility: IX above

    1. Quiz based on computers and technology
    2. 6 teams will qualify from the written preliminary round for the final on stage round

5. Gaming (6th & 7th November 2007)
Eligibility: Open for any class

    1. One participant from each school
    2. Rules will be announced on the spot

6. Programming in “C++” or “Visual Basic” (7th November 2007)

Eligibility: XI & XII

    1. Two Questions to be solved either in “C++” or “VB”
    2. Software:-Turbo C++ or Visual Basic 6.0.

7. Presentation in Power Point (7th November 2007)
No. of Participants:-2
Eligibility: VI & VII

    1. Topic will be given during the time of competition
    2. Clips will be provided

8. Movie in Flash (7th November 2007)
No. of Participants:-2
Eligibility: VIII above

    1. Topic will be given during the time of competition
    2. Movie should not be of more than 1minutes otherwise student will be disqualified.

NOTE:
Participants should make sure that they do not participate in events that are occurring at the same time. If time left surprise event will also be organized.

A meeting is scheduled for ALL Exun members on Friday, 12 October 2007 after the exam. The meeting is related to Exun 2007 and essential areas of work that need to be taken up immediately. All members must stay back and attend.
