Exun 2016 – Programming Prelims

The prelims for the Programming event will be held on Tuesday, 22 November from 5 PM to 8 PM. There will be an online programming contest at exun.co/prog-prelims.
Participants are requested to join the codeforces group for now.

The top 10 teams will qualify for the onsite finals.

Note: Any number of teams can participate from a school but a maximum of two teams from a school will qualify for the finals.

Exun 2016 – Create Prelims

The prompt for the preliminary round of Exun’s Create (Creative Event) is now live at exun.co/prompt!

Here are few things to keep in mind:

– There will be no overall winner for Create. Every event (Design, Web Development, Video, Audio, and 3D Design) will be judged individually, and points earned in prelims will be added to points earned during the (on-site) final round (in case you qualify).

– We will qualify a maximum of six schools for the (on-site) final round.

– Preliminary round submissions must be made before 11:59 pm on 24 November 2016.

– Please note that participation is strictly individual. Team entries will not be considered. An FAQ section with complete details on the event has been included in the prompt, but please feel free to contact us at exunclan@gmail.com with any questions or queries you may have, or if you wish to use a software program not listed in the prompt.

– Since they are all individual events, it is possible that X school qualifies for Web Design but does not qualify for 3D Design, Y school qualifies for 3D design but does not qualify for Web Design, Z school qualifies for both, Web Design and 3D Design. In this case, X school will compete with school Z for a podium in Web Design, and Y school will compete with school Z for a podium in 3D Design. However, the more sub-events you qualify for, the more are your chances of winning the overall!

Hope you like it – all the best!
