Apple launched it’s latest product, the MacBook Air and take my word for it, it is absolutely beautiful. It is ultra thin, it’s thickness being just 0.76″.
It has a WiFi, bluetooth, EDR, everything you need. But, there is no optical disk drive. Apple insists that we don’t need one, and they have developed this new technology, that lets you read a disc wirelessly from another Mac or PC (a feature called Remote Disk), or you can just go for the USB optical drive.
It has an Intel Dual Core processor, that has been specially made for it, and it is 60% thinner than what it was before.
The keyboard is backlit.
You can go for a 80GB hard disk or a 64 GB SSD. And guess what, it has 5 hours of battery life.
It starts from $1799 and the most expensive model is $3098. It is a bit pricey, but if you see how thin it is, those Sony laptops just seem to fizz away.
Apple also launched movie rentals over iTunes , and they have a new UI for Apple TV, whose prices have been cut down to $229 from $299.
woe…nic..i am drooling all over my keyboard just looking at how thin it is…
Their Remote Disc feature seems pretty impressive.
Sweet! And yeah, remote disc seems to be a pretty snazzy feature
