Programming
1 hour to solve 4 logic-based programming questions in C++.
Cartoon Making
You are required to design a 2 minutes long animation film based on the theme “Tom and Jerry on a fun-filled holiday”. (You can also choose any other two cartoons of your choice and complete the situation). Software to be used – Flash 5/MX and Adobe Photoshop 7/7.5. The film is to be burnt on a CD in .jpg format and it should be submitted at the time of registration.
Gaming
Students will be given a computer game that they have to play and achieve the specific goal. The game, the basis of judging and time limit will be given on the spot.
Group Discussion
There will be two 30 minutes preliminary rounds out of which six students will be short listed for a 30 minutes final round. The topic will be given on the spot.
Quiz
This is to identify the best quizzing team out of six teams, who would be short listed on the basis of a 25 questions preliminary round which would be of 30 minutes. The finals would be held onstage in MP Hall with an added Audio/Visual round.
Digital Imaging
You have to create a digital image on the topic-
“One Silver Medal = 100 crores – Indian Olympians at Athens”
Each team is required to get a hard and soft copy of the image on labelled CD in .jpg format and submit it at the time of registration. Image should be as hilarious as possible.
Web Designing
Participants would be asked to create a website on a given topic in 1.5 hours. Image would be provided and FrontPage would be given to create the web site. To create graphics, the participants may use Adobe Photoshop.
PowerPoint Presentation
The students will be required to create a presentation to sell/promote a given product. The product will be given on the spot and related images will be provided.
Movie Making
The students are required to make a 3 minutes long movie on “Child Labour”. The movie should be shot with a digital camera and edited using any movie making software. The movie should be burnt on a CD which is to be submitted at the time of registration. The movie should run on Windows Media Player or QuickTime only.
